Located on Utila’s Northwest side of the island in a romantically secluded setting, you’ll find the amazing gem called Don Quickset. With a harbor of about a half mile wide, you’ll find tons of stingrays, fish on the reef, and the quintessential sandy beach over 3,000 ft long!

You wanna fly fish? This area has the perfect combination of shallow sandy waters filled with turtle grass and undisturbed waters.

It’s my belief that the meant to call the area Don Quixote, and when the english pronounced it, it came out Don Quick-sote, later becoming Don Quickset…  what do you think?

We’ve been taking picnics out there and just touring around on the boat, frolicking in the deserted beach and tepid waters. Enjoy these videos of our time out there!
