Scroll down for more details:

1. Removal of Honduras Pre-Check: Drumroll, please… Immigration has finally lifted the pre-check requirement for travelers!
That’s right, you heard it here first. No more fretting over pre-check forms and paperwork. With the removal of this requirement, you can focus on what truly matters – soaking up the sun, exploring the underwater wonders, and savoring every moment of your island adventure.
Don’t forget that your passport needs six-month’s of validity to enter Honduras! So double-check your expiry date!
2. Complete the Online Customs Form: To make your arrival even smoother, don’t forget to complete the online customs form ahead of time. This will help streamline the customs process and get you to the beach faster!
Honduras ditched the paper and goes digital with their online customs form. Filling it out prior to entry to Honduras will make your arrival process smoother. Sometimes the wifi in the arrival airport doesn’t work so well.
At the top of the declaration, you can change the language using the dropdown menu shown below:

A common question is “what’s the airport name we’re flying into”? They’ve just added the city names, whereas before it just listed the official name. Yay!!! See the Roatan airport highlighted in blue – Juan Manuel Galvez.
You’ll be given a QR code, so take a screenshot, in case you cannot connect to your data upon arrival, you’ll have it saved in your photos.
3. Check New Airline Schedules: Ah, the thrill of travel planning! As of February 2024, airline schedules have been updated, so be sure to double-check your flight details and timings.

Most travellers, if they arrive by 1pm, have been able to take the Utila Ferry to Utila. See Point #4 for more info. Common travel itineraries are from Saturday to Saturday. If you’re heading to Utila, there may be more charter flight options from Roatan to Utila on those days.
4. Utila Ferry Schedule: The Dream Ferries run from Roatan to Utila with service to La Ceiba as well. The ferry leaves from Dixon Cove in Roatan at 2pm and arrives to Utila at 3pm.
If you fly into Roatan by 1pm, you should be able to clear customs and get a taxi to the ferry terminal for your 2pm departure.
Save money! If you book online, you receive a 10% discount! Remember if you book online, save any confirmation photos to your gallery, so you’re prepared if you have no internet access at the time.

And FYI, there are strong rumors that another ferry company will begin providing services to Utila. The more the merrier!
